Over the course of the following months, we’ve added more gear, learned from our mistakes and experiments, and refined our setup, to the point where things are pretty routine on Sunday mornings. It was pretty rudimentary to start with, with just the equipment we had on hand – a webcam, a old-ish camcorder, a cheap USB video capture dongle, a USB audio capture device, and the computer we used for the sanctuary protectors. Here at Bethlehem, we scrambled to put together a Sunday morning livestream for our members.

We’ve replaced our multiple cameras with a single PTZ camera ( PTZOptics PT30X-NDI) which has greatly reduced the amount of setup work required before each service, and upgraded our control system to an Elgato Stream Deck XL (combined with BitFocus Companion software) to make controlling the system even easier than with the MIDI controller.
